With a footprint of just 70 square meters, the CHM-1100 is a single-drum sheeter-what we commonly call a roll-to-sheet cutter. It uses a flying shear design with a fixed bottom knife and a rotating top knife. As the paper feeds through, the bottom knife stays stationary while the top knife spins at high speed. This design allows the CHM-1100 to cut sheets with length ranging from 450mm to 1100mm precisely and efficiently.

Real Performance in Slitting

This machine handles paper weights from 60 to 550 GSM. By adding more unwind stands, it can easily tackle multiple web slitting: for example, four rolls of 40g silicone paper at once, four to six rolls of 70g offset paper, or even eight to twelve rolls of 30g Bible/tissue paper-with ease.

Through years of R&D and practical improvements-especially optimizing energy capture during flying shear braking and the energy recovery/storage system-Changjiang has achieved stable power supply during acceleration and energy recovery during deceleration. This gives the motor tighter control and higher cutting precision. Under stable operating conditions, a standard two-roll machine consumes only about 5.9 kWh per hour.
