The CHM-A4 line integrates cutting, ream wrapping, carton packing and palletizing into a single flow: parent roll to unwinding, edge guiding, flattening, cutting, cross-cutting, counting, A4B ream wrapping, A4DB carton packing and robotic palletizing. Horizontal cutting accuracy reaches plus or minus 0.2 mm, and the line handles 60-100 gsm copy paper (mainstream 70-80 gsm).

Single-Knife Slitting Machines (CHM-1400/1700/1900)

Single-knife machines use impact and partial shear cutting with a rotating upper blade. They are ideal for thin, flexible papers, small batch and multi-spec production. Standard range is 60-550 gsm, with 50-120 gsm thin papers recommended. Standard configuration includes a 2-roll unwind stand, 3-point brake and one oil-pressure edge guide, with options for 3-4 roll stands and multi-layer edge guiding.

Double-Knife Slitting Machines (SGT-1400/1500/1700)

Double-knife machines use a pure, scissor-type shear cutting action with synchronous upper and lower spiral blades. They deliver clean, fiber-free cuts and are built for heavy cardstock and high-grammage paper in the 200-1000 gsm range. Key upgrades include an external circulating oil cooling system for the cutter head, electric small-shaft reverse-bend units, precision pneumatic slitting holders and a reinforced frame.

Paper Type and Grammage Selection Guide

50-120 gsm thin, uncoated paper: single-knife machine with thin-paper tension control and static eliminators; double-knife is not recommended.
120-250 gsm coated or packaging paper: widened single-knife (CHM-1700) or double-knife for heavier coated stock, with full servo drive and automatic edge guiding.
250-550 gsm rigid card: mandatory SGT double-knife with reinforced shafts and frame; single-roll production only.
550-1000 gsm industrial board: custom heavy-duty SGT double-knife with vibration-damping base and alloy steel rotary blades.

Selection tip: choose a single-knife machine for thin stock, small batches, multiple specs and tight budgets; choose a double-knife machine for thick stock, high volumes and high-precision premium paper.
